Yesterday:
We played a Kahoots quiz for Act one in the 12th Night.
I defined 12 comedy terms to understand.
We broke into rows and created a short skit using two of the terms.
HW: Bring in something funny that follows one of the terms covered.
Today:
Journal: Share what is funny about what you brought to class. 1/2 page
We went around the room and shared and identified the many forms of comedy. These will be important as we go forward looking at 400 year old comedy. What do you think lasts?
We took a field trip to the lib and were given the opportunity to have a lib card valid at any public lib in the state. Nothing like a free book my screen addicted, internet stealing teens....
This Blog was set up as another way that I can communicate with you about my class. Check back for word of the week, daily assignments, and class notes. Please add your email to receive an email of each posting.
