Today in class we followed along with the Kline version of Hamlet. Like all Shakespeare tragedies, Hamlet uses Act 2 as the fuel to propel the action. The fuel in Hamlet is his emotion.
The second part of the block, I broke you into small groups and asked you to "translate" 5-10 lines and present the "emotion." I suggested to you as a class that power acting, is well... powerful. Anger can also be soft. Listen to Tchaikovsky: Symphonies no 4, 5, & 6. Quiet anger.
Sonnet projects due May 14th. 14 lines in a sonnet.... hmmmmmmm...
