Soph Lit:

Today in class:

Journal Prompt: Holden says that he is the most terrific liar that you ever saw in your life. It is clearly wrong to lie, but please describe a time when you used a lie for comedy and not to deceive in a bad way. Can a lie ever be meant for comedy? What are the dangers of sarcasm?

We reviewed ch 1-3.

We defined the terms: Phony, crazy and explored the limits of 1st person narration.

HW: Please read ch 4-6. We will have a quiz Tuesday.
