We defined: Style, Tone and Irony.

We looked at the 4 types of characterization: Direct, Indirect, What others say and by physical appearance.

We talked about how all of this relates to Chaucer.

We completed part 3 of your pilgrimage project:

Write a 4-6 line poem about yourself trying to duplicate Chaucer's style.

Step #1:  Give yourself a title.
Step #2:  Write a 4-6 line poem about yourself, trying to duplicate the parts of Chaucer's style that we defined.
Step#3:  We wrote these on a clean sheet of paper
Ste#4:  Staple in this order-  Prologue Poem about yourself, sheet of symbols that define you, Pilgrimage Story.

I collected these.

I passed back you quizzes from this week.  If you were absent, it is your responsibility to make them up.  I will be afterschool Tuesday and Wed.
