John Martin’s Paradise Lost

Brit Lit:

Today:

Journal Prompt:  What are your thoughts on the afterlife?  Do we go to another place after death, or as Steve Jobs believed, are we like a light switch that just is turned off?  What has led you to you thoughts on life after death?     1 page

We read Paradise Lost to the spooky music of: Carl Orff - O Fortuna https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxW2PLxjRwE

We looked paintings inspired by the poem  and made cartoon versions of the poem in small groups and shared these.

We went to the computer lab and finished your final draft of the essay.  This is 50% of your test grade.
