Today:

Journal #17:  Please select a minor character and write a one page letter to Holden.

We defined characterization and broke into small groups.  Using the sheet that I gave you, I asked each group to find observational characterization as told by Holden.

We took a quiz on your reading from last night:  CH 18-19)

I passed back your Animal Farm tests.

We continued looking at ways to improve your MCAS score.

We used the ipads and explored the Globe 360 app

We defined infection and stress.  Each of you were given a random line and asked to say it with a specific emotion.

I gave notes and drawing on the Globe.

HW:  Projects due Friday!  -10 if late on Monday.

We finished the Write Like Holden assignment and shared these via the projector using Holden's voice and tone.

We continued MCAS Boot camp, day 2.

We learned about Shakespeare insults.  Each of you were paired with another student in front of class and you had to combine three insults.

I gave notes on Shakespeare.

We began act 1.
