Comp. Lit. II:
Journal #4: Write a letter to yourself in the past giving yourself advice on 3 problems that you had then. 1 page.
We played 3 strikes and you Quiz. B block won an avoided the quiz, C block lost and took quiz #2 on your reading/notes.
I passed back your quizzes.
We went over the following propaganda terms:
Euphemism, oversimplification, bandwagon, internal contradiction, faulty cause and effect reasoning, begging the question.
I explained how these can be used to take over a small country, or at least get out of taking the garbage out :-)
HW: 1st draft of your school take over speech. Final draft/speech due 9/9. Read CH 6 in Animal Farm.

I broke you into groups and asked you to come up with a name for your new society. I asked for 10 rules.
