Today:
We broke into small groups and completed a packet on symbolism in the novel. While most books have some form of symbolism, Lord of the Flies is loaded.
Remember, A Symbol is an object, person, idea, etc., used in a literary work, film, etc., to stand for or suggest something else with which it is associated either explicitly or in some more subtle way. Who..that is a mouthful.
We did journal #9. We will be finishing this project Monday, so if you do not yet have it on aged paper, please do so over the weekend.
