Today:
Journal Prompt #10: Please write the story of you vacation as a ballad from the notes that I gave you before vacation. Please try and use as many of the characteristics as possible 20 lines min.
We went over the history of the Canterbury Tales. For those at the Jr. assembly, please get these from me or someone in class.
We looked at the life of Chaucer.
We defined direct and indirect characterization.
I broke you into small groups and gave you two pilgrims to do a character sketch on a giant poster sheet. We will be presenting these in class on Tuesday.
